Sandpoint Coast Two Coast - FM NA NAJ "Scurry" Scurry is a wonderful dog. She is beautiful, has natural retrieving insticts, and loves to work. She learns incredibly quickly, and has very good focus for a young dog. So far, it looks like she will be able to do anything that I ask of her, willingly. She is sweet, gentle and at the same time a girl on the go. I am very much looking forward to many years of playing at flyball, agility, obedience and conformation with her. Scurry was bred in Virginia by Wendy Mc Phillips, both her parents are conformation Champions with her Dad, Phlyer (Ch. Sunkota’s Phorgone Conclusion SDHF OS) being an outstanding sire. Scurry has good structure, nice bone and moves cleanly. Her clearances can be seen on k9 data. Arete's One Knight Stand "Fling" Fling is Scurry's daughter out Finnegan ( see website for his registered name and titles- puppy section) She shows a lot of potential in all venues, especially in the field. She is intelligent, focused and driven. She has a sweet golden temperament and a high desire to please. She is a busy girl who often finds herself in trouble around the house. We have high hopes for Fling!
Arete’s To Infinity and Beyond "Buzz" Buzz is Whirlie’s son. Buzz like his namesake, thinks he is a super hero, but he is really a big softy. He takes his self-appointed responsibility as protector of home and person very seriously, however deep down he is truly “Golden.” The kids can do anything to him and he just wags his tail and smiles. Tiller and Scurry as babies were unmerciful with their tugging at his tail, hanging from his ruff and ears. When he had enough, he would calmly (and he is not a calm dog!) roll them over with his paws and hold them down until they mellowed out. Buzz also like his namesake is out of this world. With a non-stop energy level he is a powerfully athletic dog. He is always on the go “Buzzing” around at the speed of Light. One of his favorite activities is bike riding. I hook him up to that “springer” thingy that attaches to the bike and off we go. Of course, not only do I not peddle for the first mile or two, I actually have to have the breaks on! Buzz has no titles, and perhaps when he is about 10 or so, I may get around to putting some on him, but for now, we are just glad to have him around the house. Sometimes he will do something exactly like Whirlie or like Tricksy would do, and it just melts our hearts. He is our wild Buzz-man, and we love him that way.
